Building Products That Help People Consume Less

Most products are designed to make you consume more. I want to build the opposite: products that help people reduce drug consumption and win back clarity.

A glass of clear water and a green plant on a sunlit windowsill.

Look at the products around us. Apps engineered to keep you scrolling. Snacks engineered to make you eat more. Markets that profit when people cannot stop.

Drug consumption — whether alcohol, nicotine, or other substances — follows the same logic. Somebody profits from every relapse.

I want to build businesses that profit when people consume less.

Why this matters to me

I have seen what dependency does to people: to their health, their families, their work and their dignity. It does not care about background, religion or income. And the people affected rarely need a lecture. They need better options.

What "drug consumption lowering products" can look like

I am exploring products and services that:

  • Replace the ritual, not just the substance — because habits are tied to moments, places and feelings.
  • Make progress visible — small wins, tracked honestly, are powerful motivation.
  • Reduce gradually — not everyone can stop overnight, and pretending otherwise helps no one.
  • Connect people to real help — products should support, never replace, medical and professional care.

Building it as a business

I believe this has to be built as a real, sustainable business — not only as charity. A business that works can grow, hire, improve and reach more people every year. Its incentives are aligned: it succeeds when its customers get better.

The most valuable product is not the one people cannot stop using. It is the one that helps them stop.

This is still early. If you work in prevention, addiction support, health or product design and want to think about this together, get in touch.
